Adjunct Faculty Member, University of St. Thomas, Minneapolis, MN - Spring 2004 to Present

  • Currently instructor for class – Advanced Police Theory.  Lead discussions of 15-20 graduate students in Police Leadership program. Develop curriculum and grades written assignments.  Additionally teach a graduate continuing education class – Supervision: Police Leadership and the Ethics of Police Management.

Assistant Professor/Faculty Member, Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, MN - Fall 2005 to Present

  • Currently instructor for two undergraduate classes: Police Ethics and Statistics.  Lead discussions, provide lectures, and direct curricula for these courses for undergraduate classes of 12-20 students in the Police Science program. 

Academic Instructor, St. Paul Police Academy - Fall 2002 to 2010

  • Instructor and designer for the ethics, leadership, and diversity curriculum of the St. Paul Police Academy.

Upper Midwest Community Policing Institute, Saint Paul, MN

  • Trained and developed curriculum for officers and community members on subjects relating to leadership, ethics, community policing, racial profiling and domestic violence.
